About Me

Hi! Nice to meet you! I am from the Bay Area and recently moved to Oregon. I am openminded, friendly, warm, thoughtful, and can be silly once you get to know me. I am very clean and respectful as well, and enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life. I love karaoke, swimming, animals, and my favorite movie is Hedwig and the Angry Inch. The last concert I attended was to see Aimee Mann and Jason Isbell at the Oregon Zoo. I value non-violent communication, feminism, and listening. I consider myself highly empathic, and I really enjoy helping others. I am a lifelong learner and place high importance on self-growth and curiosity, as well as emotional and physical wellbeing. Singing, nature, and connecting with others are forms of therapy to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am working on moving to Portland, and since it's a two-hour drive each way, I figured I would stay overnight. Since I don't really know anyone in Portland, I thought couchsurfing would be a fun way to meet new people and make friends in the city I'd like to be living in soon. I love music, so would be interested in hearing about your favorite local shows. I also enjoy lectures and podcasts, so open mic nights, The Moth, or whatever weird thing happening in Portland at the time could be fun, too.
