ABOUT ME

My name is Rebecca and studying music, sociology and journalism at the University of Hong Kong. I have a strong connection with music and it can express my emotions during my performance. As a musician I am not a freak even though sometimes I am practing for 8 hours per day. Instead, my friend said I am humorous, optimistic, talkative and crazy!

I have travelled a lot in this two years, starting from 2012. I think exploring around the world is a good opportunity for musician to absorb and find out inspiration on different pieces and composition. Thus, I did a Europe rail trip in 2013 summer and travelled a few European countries, which is awesome.

Meeting different interesting people is also a fun thing. People with different nationalities and cultures will produce various chemical reactions. Getting more information from that, you will get familiar to one another.

I will go on exchange to Paris at Université Paris Dauphine this fall semester from September 2014 to January 2015 and i hope to explore more about Europe as well.

PHILOSOPHY

I describe myself as an humanist, individualist, libertarian, realistic optimist and a sanguine person.

Couchsurfing is a good channel for me to meet people around the world. I will try to host people in hong kong, tho it is hard due to the narrow flats in HK.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couch surfing in Brussels and Paris which is an epic experience.
