I am an Environmental Engineering major studying at the University of Pittsburgh. As an Environmental Engineer, I love nature and hiking. I am also a big fan of cooking and am always interested in trying new foods, especially ones that will satisfy my sweet tooth. I love travelling and meeting new people, which is why I am currently studying abroad in Buenos Aires. I've grown up travelling around the United States because I have family all over, but I'm excited to be getting to travel on my own more to new countries.

Estoy estudiando ingenieria ambiental en la Universidad de Pittsburgh. Como estoy estudiando sobre el medio ambiente, me encanta la naturaleza y excurcionismo. Tambien siempre me gusta cocinar y estoy interesada en probando comidas nuevas, especialmente comidas dulces. Desde nina viaje por todos lados en los Estados Unidos porque tengo familia en muchos lugares, pero estoy entusiasmada para viajar sola en nuevos paises. Quiero conocer a gente nueva de todos lugares y por esta razon estoy estudiando ahora en un intercambio en Buenos Aires.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to alternative and pop rock, especially Five for Fighting and Matchbox 20, but I will pretty much listen to anything. I'm also a big musical theater nerd who loves to listen to show tunes and Disney. Anything that I can dance to also works for me!

I also watch a lot of movies and am trying to start watching more older classics. I'm a big fan of Harry Potter (both the movies and the books) and I've been getting more into Hitchcock as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went ziplining through the Costa Rican cloud forest in the rain! The views were amazing and my poncho got torn to shreds.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm happy to practice English with anyone, although I'm also working hard to practice my Spanish. I'm also ready to cook anything that might sound interesting to you. Mostly I just want to hear about other people's experiences and share my own!
