I love to travel (hence, what has brought me to this page). I am Canadian; east coast raised, but west coast bound. I LOVE the west coast. My fiance and I aim to move there in the near future!
I have been to 7 countries. I love taking pictures (not that I'm a skilled photographer) and I love to hike AND to meet new people.
I love to hike because it is a place where you can get away from the crazy cycle and can not only challenge yourself, but appreciate the view along the way. It humbles you and reminds you that there is so much more to this life than our iphones and business meetings.
I love to meet new people because there are so many stories that people have to share, but there is not always a listening ear. It is inspiring to hear what other people have gone through and the passions that they have and the dreams and goals they may want to accomplish. I love to hear what others have to say.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

This is my FIRST time to couch surfing. I actually heard about it a couple years ago and thought it was something only bands do (I know, I'm sheltered).

What brought me to actually think about and search up couchsurfing is that I am going to Portland, OR this summer for an internship, and my dormitory at PSU does not open until the 22nd of June, but I am arriving the 18th. I was looking for hostels and many of them are out of my price range.

My next thought: COUCH SURFING! And here I am :)
