Currently living in the centre of Alicante but I'm originally from Darlington in the North East of England. I'm working as an English teacher in a Kids English Academy. I've lived here for almost a year so far and always happy meet up for a few beverages or go exploring :)

Favourite band is Arctic Monkeys but love all kinds of music... The Strokes, Foals, Bloc Party, Interpol, Arcade Fire, Bob Dylan, Bon Iver, The Tallest Man on Earth, Tame Impala, Arcade Fire, The War on Drugs, Metronomy etc...

TV series fanatic... my favourite has to be Game of Thrones. The Walking Dead, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Prison Break, Breaking Bad, Desperate Housewives, Pretty Little Liars, Orange is the New Black, 24, South Park, Flight of the Conchords... watched all sorts really.

Favourite books I ever read were Malorie Blackman's Noughts and Crosses books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided to quit my job and move over to Spain! It's a difficult decision when you're travelling on your own but definitely one of my best

40 mile walk along Hadrian's Wall was great. Very challenging both physically and emotionally, and involved an all-nighter, which I'm not very good at usually...

Bike ride from Amsterdam to Barcelona = sore legs!

Completed the Markha Valley trek in the Himalayas from Ladakh in the North East of India, an amazing experience and feeling when we reached 5,000 metres! If you can ignore the touch of altitude sickness!

I can share what I already have learned about Alicante and the places to go here, but I still have much to explore myself so I'm looking forward to doing that with others too :)
