Hello! I'm Rebecca from Carlisle, England, UK however now living in Leeds, UK. I am travelling with my partner Ben, we recently quit our jobs to travel the world. Our adventure started on the 3rd of November 2018. We will be travelling for a year and plan to visit about 20 countries. It's a round-the-world trip going through Africa, Central Asia, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America, North America and finally Iceland.

We are so excited to see the world, learn about different cultures, and make amazing memories to treasure and look back on. We joined couch surfing to meet other like minded travellers and experience life under the locals perspective and learn from others. We also hope we can share our experiences and knowledge. I love any music I like anything from Musicals to Pop, EDM and relaxed chilled songs.

We love movies! Ben likes his weird and quirky indie films such as The Killing of the Sacred Deer and Wes Anderson's filmography. I enjoy most genres but especially enjoy Rom Coms and Dramas.

Our favourite TV series at the moment is The Good Place, we have also enjoyed watching Game of Thrones and Stranger Things.

Ben loves his books and long fantasy book series, if you're interested in similar books too I am sure he can give you plenty of suggestions.

X Camped in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania and did a wildlife safari.

X Visited two wonders of the world Taj Mahal and Angkor Wat.

X Swam with Manta Ray's in Flores, Indonesia.

X Rode a hot air balloon over Vang Vieng, Laos.

X Snorkelled at the Great Barrier Reef

X Fished for piranhas in the Amazon River

If you're learning to speak English we would be more than happy to help out and help you learn. We are currently learning to speak Spanish too in for South America so we know how hard it can be to learn a new language and if you know Spanish if you're willing maybe we can help each other!

Good company! We hope you will enjoy our company, we are also clean, quiet and respectful so if you're busy for any reason let us know and we will give you the space you need. We also like card games, board games, drinking, etc if you're in the mood for that.

If you ever plan or visit the UK yourself we would love to host you also if we are able to and show you around!
