I enjoy high-energy activities, like running and all things outdoors, and low-energy things, like reading , playing with numbers on my computer, and watching tv. I'm a PhD student in geography; I used to be a digital media analyst (web analytics + media and news). Most of my spare time is spent outside, at the gym, with friends, or making music - I'm a recreational soprano.

I'm a self-contained traveller. I like to get to know the place I'm visiting by walking around, getting lost, and discovering it in the process. I'm friendly and love meeting new people, and am very respectful of other people's space. I'm a vegetarian, which sometimes makes travel tricky, but I'm adaptable and quite happy to live on bread and beer, if that's what's going.
