One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove 17 hours from Iowa to D.C. with 13 students in a 15 passenger van to spend 1 week sleeping in a church basement with 30 other people sharing 1 shower. We volunteered over spring break with organizations that work to alleviate homelessness and poverty.
