Born in Salt Lake (Utah, USA), I studied French in California and Paris and then made a friend from Wales, who became my musical collaborator over ten years. We were mainly based in Wales, but played festivals and folk clubs around the UK and Europe under the name Ember.

I fell in love with rural Wales and worked at the Centre for Alternative Technology for 5 years as membership officer and editor. I still feel deeply for the rivers and the people I know in Wales, but have moved back to Salt Lake to teach French in a fairly large high school downtown.

I love to sing and play a bit of guitar, ukulele, clarinet and harmonica. I'd love a jam or song-writing session if you're up for it. I need to be outside as much as possible, and any kind of movement, although there's plenty of time to chill and have a drink and a chat too.
