About Me

Hi I am Rebecca or Becky, Becka, Becks... (the list of nicknames continues ;)) 20 years old and I decided to travel in different countries for several months after my A-Level graduation this year.
So my A-Levels are done and now I'm in this big adventure called life. There is so much to explore and I can't wait to see as lot as I can during my journey and I do want to share these experiences with others.
I am an uncomplicated, punctional (I'm german remember) and reliable person who enjoys long conversations about any topic you can imagine. Further I love to listen to peoples' anecdotes and what they have experienced in their life so far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's such a great opportunity to come in touch with locals and get to know their lifestyle. There are so many welcoming and friendly people in this world and I want to meet as many as I can. As well in foreign countries as in my own home as a host.

Interests

I love history and how the record of different countries still affect our culture and way of living. Moreover I am interested in languages, books and karate. I love watching football (soccer) and movies and last but not least I really enjoy cooking and baking.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music has a wide range. I love 80s rock (credits go to my parents), EDM, deep house and charts and I listen to german rap as well.
I love reading since I'm able to and so I almost read all sorts of books as long they're fascinating. But one book I could read over and over again is "Die unendliche Geschichte" by Michael Ende.
You could say that the cinema is my second home. The popcorn, the trailers before the film starts, the cosy chairs. I love everything about it. I don't have a favourite genre in particular (an excuse to go as often as I can to the cinema haha) but when it comes to the Marvel Universe I turn into an absolute freaking fangirl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Fiji my travel mate and I stayed for a night with a Fijian family. They hardly had material property but nevertheless they shared everthing they got. Made my eyes open again for the real values that are important in my life.

Countries I’ve Visited
