About Me

Hi everyone, I'm Rebecca and I will arrive alone in Melbourne in early November. If anyone wants to join me, I would happy to meet you to go a way together! :-)

-----------------------

I'm 25 years old, young, woman looking for a family/host/community!

This is my first time very far from my country, my friends and family but I have this need to leave and live a unique experience, in a country that has attracted to me for years!

It's pretty hard to talk about yourself but... let's go! ;-)

So I would say that for me, travel is the most beautiful thing that we permit to learn about yourself, about the others, and about the world around us.

I like to travel using a volunteer database called www.voluntouring.org
With voluntouring.org I can travel abroad, volunteer and receive free hospitality exchange.

In Italy, I live in my parents' house, in the southwest.

I have two big brothers and two nieces, 6 and 14, they are so sweet but they grow up so fast!

I love spending time with them, go out in nature, go to the beach, playing in the garden, styling them, etc.

Before to take the decision to go to Asia, I worked in a travel agency for business group and yes it's my turn to travel!

My personality?

My friends say about me that I'm a girl with the joy of living, I love to laugh every day every time, enjoy life because we only live once!

I'm also a shy person when this is the first time we meet, I know how to stay discreet, I think that I'm curious, I like to learn about things that surround me, about people, and their way of life.
I love to go out with my friends, to dance, to go to the cinema, to the restaurant... but I also like stay at home in front of a series, a film, reading with music in the ears.

My parents have in their garden, two turtles and a lot of birds, like parrots, so for sure, I love animals! I like to take care of and feed them.

Moreover, I practice some fitness, I need to move and take care of myself.

When I was younger, I danced for almost 10 years, I like that! I also try to surf, I like this sport but I don't know if it necessary to me, we have to have big patience... lol

Hmm...
I think I've been around the main things to say about me, oh no I forgot one thing... my English is not so great but I come here to work it!

In writing, it's true that I use a little bit Google Translation (shame on me lol) but in reality, I want to get better.

So now, if my profile looks interesting to you, I stay at disposition for any questions, requests, etc.
Thank you for reading and I'm really excited to share this new experience for me, with you.

See you soon :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love to travel!

I’ve started when I was 9 thanks to my mum, who brought me to Egypt.
I was studying the Ancient Egypt in primary school and I was so fascinated by the mistery, the perfection, about those people.
I’ve visited Cairo’s museum, the Sphinx, Giza’s pyramids and that was the beginning of my biggest passion: TRAVELLING.

After that, I’ve visited different places every summer. My mum and me, always. She’s the most important person to me. I grow up with her, she’s the only person with always the smile on her face. ALWAYS! I don’t know how can she do it. She’s like a friend to me and I’m so glad for having her. When I was 17 I have chosen to go studying abroad alone for six months. I lived in Indiana, the USA in a wonderful host family who is my second family now. They treated me like their own kids. They were so patient to me (I didn’t even know how to speak English), they make me visit around, they make me have the best experience of my life so far. After that I came back to Italy, I’ve finished the high school and I left to Spain, for three months where I’ve worked in a hotel as a receptionist in Santiago de Compostela (it was a scholarship offered by my high school). I came back again and I’ve started working in a travel agency and different shops until I left again for England in January 2017.
I’ve been an Au Pair in Birmingham for six months and now I really would like to travel only. I would like to live for a while in every country of Europe from Portugal to Iceland, all of them, to speak more than one language and socialize with people. I want to visit new places, to taste new food, to grow up personally, being independent and live the life! There’s so much out there! And you give this huge possibility! I’m so glad I found you.
People describe me like a sweet and happy person, even if sometimes I like to stay on my own.. My friends adds stubborn and moody (sometimes) LOL.

I love animals, all of them, from the turtle to the dolphin. I can’t even kill a spider. I like photography, nature, walking and food! I’m hiking a lot since the last summer, I’m lucky I live next to the Alps and when I can I go hiking till the top of them. Before my experience in the USA I was always eating the same food (even in Christmas’s time) but after that I’ve started to taste different food (I had to) and now I like to eat different food from mine.

This is me.
