ABOUT ME

We're actually four, Fabian, Rebecca and two kids (2 and 4 yrs). We're spontaneous and enthusiastic but most of the time down to earth. Interested in so many things but learning to appreciate the really good ones.

PHILOSOPHY

Every day a new idea, making real a lot of them, dropping those that are not worth it. Family is really important. Some other things are important, too, but they better be fun!! Family comes first. Good food, good books, everything that makes life worthwhile. Because you can't stop time running, you can only make the best of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We just got our own house with a guestroom and are curious to meet new people who want to get to know the Rhineland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lots of travelling in the 2000's as students, later we did some couchsurfing together in 2014 in Northern Germany and Norway when our baby was small.... then moved to berlin and back with not so much time for surfing and hosting... getting back to CS in 2018 w/ 2 kids will be exciting.

Interests

House, garden, kids, music, food...gardening, cooking, furnishing... exploring playgrounds in different countries...... what more? Travelling, singing, music and concerts, books!!, Just started to learn the piano.

Teach, Learn, Share

Great idea!!!Love it! Like to share what we know if someones interested!! What do we know? What we learned at university (what's left of it), i.e. computer science and medicine... our thoughts about it... our real life experience with what we studied... psychiatry...knowledge about pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding and marriage. Crazy bureaucracy in Germany... bavarian dialect...

Gardening!! we love our garden which keeps us from going to far away as long as fruits and vegetables are growing. we like tl share our home grown food when its there - tomatoes, cucumber, sweet potato, broccoli.... right now waiting for the strawberrys ;)
