I am a Canadian exchange student staying in Switzerland for the year. My first language is English and I am learning French. I am excited to travel around Europe during my exchange and take on new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am aiming to travel to as many countries in Europe as possible in my limited time on exchange. I also think it would strengthen my travelling experiences to get to know a few locals during my stay. I love meeting new people to share thoughts and stories!

Interests

I love to paint landscapes, draw portraits, take photos and of course travel! I like to learn about different cultures and try new foods etc.

I am interested in environmental issues and spending time out doors. I love to hike when I can or run. I also try to eat well (I'm vegetarian), and try out new simple and healthy recipes :)

Teach, Learn, Share

For those learning English, I would be more than happy to give a few lessons, and if you are fluent in French, I would love to practise speaking! I'd also like to learn about your culture and try out new recipes.

If you are interested in environmental issues, I would love to speak about them with you and learn about the issues affecting your region.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hosts will have no problem with mess or rowdiness. I will definitely be able to help with cleaning. Although I'm not the most experienced cook, I wouldn't mind making a meal, or baking something for dessert! I also have a couple vegan breakfasts I'd love to share :)
