About Me

ABOUT ME

I am out going and compassionate and love to travel. Overall, I would think they would say I was a nice person that is a really good friend.

PHILOSOPHY

The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.
~Eleanor Roosevelt :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only used couchsurfing once while traveling in Russia. It was an amazing experience.

Interests

Like most people, I love music. When I wake up in the morning, there is nothing better than automatically putting on music in the morning and then making coffee. It can be any type of music, from the current pop star (Nicki Minaj) to some indie band (Angus and Julia Stone). Although if I am couch surfing, I am totally respectful and would only do this if the other person liked it too! :)

I also really enjoy traveling and meeting people that live locally. My experience in Tibet was probably one of the best in my life. I was able to see amazing land that was so drastically different from China, but China has been claiming it. I met the true Tibetans and got a sense of how things were going for them. Then I was able to take that and meet more Tibetans that were living in exile in India.

Teach, Learn, Share

I once met a person that was biking around the world, to learn, grow, and raise money for a charity. We met on the beach through friends he had couch surfed with before. I offered my apartment to him and he stayed with me for 3 days. It was one of the best experiences! We were strangers just meeting on the beach, and then he came and did a class at my school and to this day we still keep in contact! It's amazing how people come into your life for just a brief period, but can make you smile knowing that they exist in this crazy beautiful world that we all share. Life is full of surprises!
