Looking forward to making travel and/or living abroad a big part of the rest of my life and for me the whole point is to see a place beyond what the guidebooks can tell me. Next stop: Nicaragua! Advice and suggestions welcome. .

Liberal New Yorker. Sarcastic, sociable, passionate, intellectually curious, honest. I love dancing, beaches, dancing on beaches, meeting new people and exploring new places.

Lucky enough to have traveled to five continents. I lived in the western highlands of Guatemala for over two years for the Peace Corps.

PHILOSOPHY

Humanity is my religion. I'm also infinitely interested in what makes people happy and what I can learn from everyone I meet.

For now, I'm mostly interested in meeting people who live in places where I travel when I'm traveling alone. I would happy to host anyone who ever hosts me if they visit New York city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lago de Atitlan in Guatemala is one of my favorite places in the world. The first time you see it, coming around a bend in the road, it looks straight out of The Land Before Time.
