Hi, I’m Bec
I’m a Sports Physiotherapist from Australia with a background in sports medicine. My work keeps me closely connected to people and their stories, but it’s travel and adventure that truly inspire me.

I’m happiest when I’m outdoors and active. Whether that’s hiking through forests, climbing mountains, scuba diving beneath the waves, or simply wandering through a new city on foot. I enjoy the balance between the thrill of adventure and the calm that comes with being in nature.

Food is another big part of my travels. I love trying anything from street food and family-run cafés to unusual desserts I’d never find back home. Sharing a meal and stories with others is one of my favourite ways to connect.

I’d describe myself as curious, open-minded and easy-going. I enjoy conversations that spark laughter just as much as those that open up new perspectives. I can be independent when I need to be, but I also really value the sense of community and connection that Couchsurfing brings.

For me, travelling isn’t simply about the places you see, it’s about the people you meet along the way. I try to bring kindness, respect and a good sense of adventure wherever I go.

This community embodies opportunity to learn about each other. through here we can share our experiences, expertise, language, art, music, sport, hobbies... everything. it allows us to share our passions for travel and our curiosity for wearing the other persons shoe. I have grown to love this community for these many reasons and continue to encourage its use :)
