About Me

"Toi, tu es comme mon père, tu as la nostalgie des montagnes.
- De quelles montagnes, Mouchka? Lui demandais-je.
- De celles que tu n'as pas connues, voyons!"

Je l'aimais - Anna Gavalda

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been surfing a lot lately and I've allready made my first experiences as a host myself. It's an amazing way to discover unknown (physically and psychological) territories and those that I thought I allready know.
I've been mostly surfing in the USA and Canada. It's been awesome. I had a great time and only great experiences with ChouchSurfing thanks to my lovely hosts! I'd totally do it again the same way.

Interests

As a medical student people say there is not much time except for studying. That's partly true but the (really not too tiny) amount left I use for doing sports and enjoying life. That means for me meeting friends, eating/cooking together, reading and most importantly exploring the rest of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading. I enjoy this hobby in every language; from Hesse in German, Ken Follett in English, Anna Gavalda in French to García Marquez in Spanish.
I don't like a certain kind of music. It's more that I let myself influence by moods and experiences adding one or two songs by various bands and artists to my "life playlist". So my music collection is a wild mix of everything. However due to my time abroad in France it is really influenced by french "chansons" right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having been invited to breakfast by a noble prize winner.
