We did USA in 2013 and are now saving for our next adventure.

ABOUT ME

I'm originally from the South Island of New Zealand but now residing in the North. I love the space of my semi rural environment, it is restful. I do like to go into the city (Auckland is close) to see art exhibitions, bands or catch a film etc. I am a Christian but not a bible basher. I don't have any particular dietary needs and like to try new types of food. I teach art at a local high school and have been involved in youth work through our local church. I love working with teenagers. My husband is a musician and gig's regularly. He is also involved in Christian radio.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Happy to host and be hosted when possible. I want to be a friendly and welcoming host. I want travelers to think that New Zealander's are hospitable. I want my guests to feel welcome, comfortable and have a good nights rest - a home away from home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only hosted people at this stage. So far, so good!
