ABOUT ME
Hmmmm... I am a midwestern gal who spent four years living in the city of Chicago before graduating from Loyola University and setting out on a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. I am a nice, respectable, fun-loving person with a kind heart, a good sense of humor, and an old soul. I now live in Charlottesville, Virginia home to the University of Virginia and not too far from Shenandoah National Park and Blue Ridge Mountains. I live in Downtown Belmont, walking distance to the downtown mall and down the street from plenty of popular restaurants.
Currently I can only host on the weekends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to host when I can and appreciate being hosted when I am in need!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far so good, with a few odds encounters along the way.
Interests
Oil painting and scrapbooking, cooking, gardening, hiking, traveling, yoga, and I have a deep appreciation for the arts. First Friday's art gallery tours are a lot of fun here and from mid April - beginning of September, Friday's After Five hosts free live music at the downtown mall pavilion.
I used to work as a Neuropsychometrician for a Memory and Movement Disorders Clinic at UVA Medical Center and have past experience in mental health research and program development. Currently I work on Clinical Trials for a CRO in Pharmacovigilence and Patient Safety as a Drug Safety Associate.
