About Me

I am open minded, curious and always seeking adventure. Strong believer in equality - LGBTQ+ rights, animal rights and feminism are important to me. As is the hope of terminating racism, poverty, hunger and the steady destruction of our earth. I dream big, and like to spend much of my spare time simply daydreaming, thinking and evaluating. I can often be found with my nose buried in a book - be it fiction or non-fiction - oblivious to reality.

My personality type is INFP, which makes me kind of an contradiction. I often crave to be alone, but at the same time, I love to share thoughts and ideas, as well as discussing important social issues.

I love rich cultures and languages, and would hope to travel a lot more than I currently do. As of now, I am studying journalism in London, but I was born and raised in South-Eastern Norway. My goal is to become a war correspondent, and perhaps also a documentary producer.

Writing, filming and photographing are passions of mine, and I am never far from my camera. I love anything related to an adrenalin filled thrill, whether it is the quickest and steepest roller coaster or the thought of finally doing a bungee jump. I can be both spontaneous and thoughtful, but I will never be much of a planner. Instead, I prefer to live my life day by day; thriving in the present.

I've been vegan since 2013.
I'm an atheist, and I find religion to be an interesting subject.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to a mix of pop, punk and rock. My favourite bands include - but are not limited to - Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, Sleeping with Sirens, Our Last Night and Panic! at the Disco. I also enjoy some metal now and then, often in the winter cold.

When it comes to reading, I love to bury myself in fantasy books and movies. I love books like Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, The Maze Runner and Divergent, but J.R.R. Tolkien is my god. The Lord of the Rings-universe is simply my favourite work of fiction to this day.

As for movies, I can enjoy most genres. However, I really love fantasy, sci-fi and superhero movies; Marvel in particular.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to London in 2015 to get a BA in journalism. Moving so far away from my family and all of my friends has been challenging to times, but I don't regret my decision at all. I have forged new friendships, and gotten the opportunity to learn and do so much more. Norway's entire population is barely over 5 million, so imagine the shock of arriving in a city of 8,5 million people! London is really something else; buzzing with life and opportunities.
