Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Appreciate life. Do good things. Remember to take my multivitamin.
ABOUT ME
I've lived a fair number of places and have finally found the place I feel perfectly at home. I'm a Seattle resident and all that that entails (coffee, flannel, music, liberal, mellow, etc). I have traveled a bit and only recently become addicted. Other addictions include caffeine and public radio. I served two years in the Peace Corps teaching English and HIV/AIDS awareness in Ukraine. Before and since, I have not been able to tear myself away from work in public schools. Now I work as a statistician focusing on educational assessment, achievement, and equitability.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't spend a lot of time thinking about my philosophy, or any philosophy for that matter. I just want to do things. And see things. And learn things. And change things. And be better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I only recently joined in anticipation for my trip to South Africa, which turned out to be awesome x100. I've also met a few local folks through CS.
Interests
Live music, drinking beers, wandering about outside, watching people in airports, singing loudly and poorly with the radio, exploring cities, listening to stories, painting my nails.
