After travelling through Canada for a year and trying out different thigns I settled down in Dresden - for now.
I started to study here, found an amazing city to live in and now I can even share this with my boyfriend, since he moved here from the Netherlands.

My future plans? Honestly I have no clue. Maybe I will work here for a bit, maybe I go for another work and travel year (thinking about NZ) or maybe.. well who knows?

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

This website used to save me and my bank account while I was in Canada. But it also let me meet people that I am still in contact with, after many years.

So now that I have a permanent address it is time to pay back and offer a place to stay as well.
And time to welcome people to this beautiful city, to meet new cultures from everywhere in the world. :)

兴趣

I guess I am quite a nerd. Much into video games, some TV shows or anime, reading and such.
I love singing and playing guitar (I guess my neighbours dont love this so much).

When I dont sit at my computer (which actually happens sometimes) I like going to the gym or just getting out of the city for a bit, for example to the mountains near here for little day hikes.
Sometimes I also find my way to concerts and festivals or I just meet up with friends for a beer or two and some fun couch-coop games.

I love reading, even though I do not read as much as I used to. I am mostly into fantasy, with Terry Pratchett being my favorite by far, ever since I first read "The Color of Magic".

For movies I am not that picky, Sci-Fi, fantasy or some superhero movies can hadrly be wrong for me.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Looking back I am a bit proud of how I managed to hitchhike through Canada, from Toronto all the way to Calgary. Accompanied by a friend we managed to find our way across the country, mostly using couchsurfing for accomodation, sometimes a motel if needed. Not exactly easy, but definitely something else.
