I'm 24 years old and I live in Delta, BC with my partner Moe, our 4 year old Alaskan Malamute and our 6 year old long hair cate. In 2015 I graduated from Bishop's University (Sherbrooke, QC) where I studied Political and International Studies. I enjoy learning about new cultures and I am a firm believer in religious tolerance and interfaith and intercultural dialogue.

I am couchsurfing to meet locals in the places I am travelling to and gain connections that I would otherwise miss by staying in a hotel , private hostel or by taking a pre-set tour. Essentially, I'm looking to make friends and get an insiders perspective of what makes your city/town/village rock!

- Horseback riding trip for 3 nights through the Rocky Mountains in Banff, Canada
- Visiting Vimy Ridge and Ypres in France/Belgium
- Taking a boat cruise in Istanbul and getting to visit Princess Island, travelling along the Sea of Marmara

I am interested in education and spent a month volunteering as an English language instructor in Ankara, Turkey.

While working for the Tim Horton Children's Foundation I developed an interest in working with youth, experiential education and leadership development. I hope to one day pursue a Bachelors of Education because I believe information sharing and education/skill development are the two most important tools for people to live prosperous lives.

Learning and sharing with a guest or a host is ideal- having a conversation about your experiences and perspectives over a bottle of red wine sounds like a relaxing evening to me! I also love food so would love to share a meal with guests or hosts, whether it's teaching you how to make the infamous Canadian poutine, learning to cook something typical to the hosts community or sharing a meal at a restaurant you can almost always count me in.

I am happy to chat with my hosts and cook with them and if possible bring them a little taste of Canada as gratitude. I love good beer and wine and I'm a tea enthusiast I'm happy to supply my hosts with a good beverage and great conversation.
