UPDATE April 2024

Sooooo.... I haven't couchsurfed since September 2021! But now I'm getting back into it!!

I'm not covid vaxxed, but I'm sort of a live and let live girl, if you are - whatever.

I moved back to North Carolina mostly because of housing in 2021. Covid hit and it felt like EVERYONE moved to Montana. I rent, and got totally hosed. I had a friend back in Asheville who owned a few houses and needed tenants, so I moved back. It worked out great because he got some covid housing rent money out of it. I've been in NC for a few years, again.

Sometimes I couchsurf when I feel guided or I feel like it would be more fun than a hotel. I've moved a lot, so sometimes I've couchsurfed in between sublets. It's been great often and I treasure a lot of what I have learned from hosts.

Not sure what the site is like these days - I've been on it since 2012. I have been described as "old school", I enjoy talking to my hosts and hanging out. I don't use couchsurfing for hookups of any kind.

It will be interesting to start surfing (and eventually hopefully hosting a bit) in a post-pandemic world. Since the pandemic started I spend these days watching a lot of baseball, and on youtube livestreams (about court cases - like Emily Baker). I'm still always up for talking about traveling.

Update!! 2019

Definitely moving to Bozeman, Montana! Will be looking for a place May 2019. Love Montana. Have been travelling April and May 2019.

I'm originally from Portland, Oregon and Southern California. I've been in North Carolina for the past 3 years. I am in the process of moving back West, to Oregon or Montana. Yay! I love many aspects of the South but I missed the West.

I'm passionate about protecting the environment, and lableling gmos. I sign a lot of internet petitions about free speech, and protecting the environment. I'm also an actress and writer, and I love Shakespeare, and going to the theatre. I also enjoy improv dance, and singing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing that comes to mind is the ticker tape parade in Chicago in 2005, when the Chicago White Sox won the World Series. It was amazing- thousands of people came downtown and cheered when the players rode through town. There was ticker tape everywhere and the energy was just incredible. It was an amazing thing to experience the impossible, the - "that will never happen" - the Sox winning the World Series, in my lifetime!!!
