关于我
I will decline those copy and paste requests and those who don’t know the password. I can’t accept urgent requests.
CURRENT MISSION
Let the moment seize us.
ABOUT ME
I'm a scavenger.
What I pick up are not tangible objects,
But fleeting moments,
Forgotten landscapes.
I pick up the debris of broken hearts and dreams,
Discarded in the unseen corners of the world.
I pick up a bag of sweet aroma of lilies
Dipped in the taste of salty sea air.
I pick up every cloud tagged with your name,
Using it to darn a big hole in the sky.
I pick up circles and swirls made by raindrops breaking the puddles’ surface.
They are the ECG of asphalt roads.
They are the tears of joy mixed with sadness from heaven
Producing sound waves that move up and down on the ground.
I pick up the music wind is making for waves, grass, and trees
For your hair and skirts flying.
I pick up the gas that escapes from every color balloon,
Every sigh it releases.
I pick up every shadow of cement blocks in urban jungle.
They look like wild animals
Who once roamed the savannas and plains of Africa
But are helplessly imprisoned behind the fences at a zoo.
I pick up every fish no one noticed,
Floating under the footbridges and over the traffic.
They are stuck in an aquarium
Constructed by endless streams of vehicles and pedestrians,
Unable to swim out.
I pick up every animal's bone and soul,
Chanting the mantras for salvation
With POETRY.

On July 15, 2007, I disembarked on a frantically flamboyant megalopolis named Shanghai, a city which I grew up with and shared moments, deep and high, woven into tapistry of beautiful memories. On April 3, 2011, I moved back to Taipei, trying to discover my homeland and myself from a brandnew angle.
On Sep. 11, 2012, I took a "blessed" flight on a blessed day to Europe, visiting dOCUMENTA 13 and fulfilling my promise to be in Paris. It's difficult to describe myself. I'm simple but sofisticated, calm but crazy, smart but silly, stubborn but spontaneous. Am I contradicting myself? If you ask me to describe "little chicken," a fictional but very true figure in my whimsical fantasies, I'll definitely offer a more satisfying answer. I'm trying my best not to jump into a rabbit hole, not to open a door, not to drink a mysterious lotion, not to bump into a mirror but always fail. Now I'm still in the process of becoming a human being, a fully functioning person and trying to get wiser as a naive fool. I become a vegetarian, start Couchsurfing and then volunteering in hospitals. I've been living a plastic-free life since January 2015. I start venturing to high mountains (over 5000m) and volcanoes, paragliding, hitchhiking, ecoactivism, animal protection and rescue, painting, artivism, organzing art tours, curating exhibitions, making art installations, doing urban intervention by performing art, and the movement of saving Nangang Bottle Cap Factory and Luming Hall. And after joining Couchsurfing for a while and actively participating in hosting, surfing and organizing many events, I was chosen to be an ambassador. I'm not sure what I will do later but I feel I'm on the right course. :)
I have a blog about poetry and a youtube channel to share everything I'm passionate about. If interested in my nonsensical mumble and grumble after so much rambling, please take a look and welcome to give me some feedback.

PHILOSOPHY
"I postpone death by living, by suffering, by error, by risking, by giving, by losing."
"I am an excitable person who only understands life lyrically, musically, in whom feelings are much stronger as reason. I am so thirsty for the marvelous that only the marvelous has power over me. Anything I can not transform into something marvelous, I let go. Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls."
"Lately I’ve been thinking about who I want to love, and how I want to love, and why I want to love the way I want to love, and what I need to learn to love that way, and who I need to become the kind of love I want to be ... and when I break it all down, when I whittle it into a single breath, it essentially comes out like this: Before I die, I want to be somebody’s favorite hiding place, the place they can put everything they know they need to survive, every secret, every solitude, every nervous prayer, and be absolutely certain I will keep it safe. I will keep it safe."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Official version: I was helped and most cordially received on my trips so I want to show the same hospitality to other travelers.Unofficial version: It's a mystery! I missed a friend far away. I built a simple profile. I received my first guests. I was overwhelmed. I think I'll keep couchsurfing. :D
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far so good!!! I have hosted tons of travelers since I joined Couchsurfing in 2009, also started surfing others' couches, organized parties, tours and other events. I moderated several groups in Shanghai and then Taiwan. I acquaint and befriend people all over the world and keep in touch with most of them. Some even become dear friends close to my heart. Since I moved back to Taiwan, my CS friends even visited me in Taipei.
In 2011, I was surprisingly invited to be an ambassador. Then I worked as the judge and world navigator of "World Citizen Island", speaking to many young Taiwanese travelers and introducing Couchsurfing to them. Now as a city ambassador in Taipei, I promise to organize more events to stimulate Taipei CS scene.

音乐、电影和书籍
I love and watch too many movies. I prefer art, independent, European and Asian movies.
In the beginning, mostly Jazz and Classical as my music learning started from my piano training since 6 years old. Now all kinds of deep, beautiful sounds in this world through various mediums.
(You can actually listen to all the beautiful sounds I've discovered here:

Most books I read are about art, literature, architecture, travel, history and interior design. I'm actually a bookaholic before I start traveling. :)
You can check the books I read here:

我做过的一件不可思议的事情
Seen: The southernmost point in India. Documenta in Kassel, the biggest art event in the world; Taj Mahal, the most splendid manmade wonder in the world, at sunrise, sunset and in the rain. The gorgeous fireworks on the sea during Venice Carnival. The magnificent sunrise on Jinshanling Great Wall. The first sunrise of 2008 on the top of Sanqing Mountain at minus 10 °C, on the top of Mt. Emei in 2010, on the top of Zhangjiajie in 2011, on the top of Adam's peak in Sri Lanka in 2012, on the top of Bagan Pagoda in Myanmar in 2014. The biggest blizzard in Shanghai and in Pingyao and in Hunan in 50 years...The ice and snow wonders in Harbin at minus 20-30 °C...Namtso in Tibet, the highest and the most beautiful lake in the world...The purest, prettiest beach in the world on Jibei Isle in Penghu, Taiwan. The unearthly desolate beauty of Mt. Bromo at dawn... Lanyu, the Earth's best kept secret (if Taiwan is "Formosa" literally, Lanyu is Formosa within Formosa!) Recently I went to Dongyin...;then I realize I have to change my opinion before because Dongyin is even more beautiful than Lanyu but also more inconvenient. So far, this world never exhausts my eyes.
Done: Survive the 10-day Vipassana meditation twice. Snorkeling and diving in the Philippines (whale sharks, sea turtles and sardine run!) Sail to a desert island. Decide to lead a plastic-free life. Save Nangang Bottle Cap Factory and Luming Hall. Join Teej (Women's Festival) in Nepal. Back to India again though I almost got killed by rabies the first time there. Conquering aquaphobia and being able to swim finally in the summer of 2012; conquering acrophobia by venturing to mountains over 5000m and paragliding; swimming with planktons in the sea near Orchid Island at night; fishing with my father on a small boat on the sea between the Philippines and Indonesia for days. Visiting a very active volcano just a few months after its eruption. Venturing into a Bali temple which turned out to be a casino and being the only female spectator to watch a crazy bloody cockfight. (Women were forbidden). Surfing in I-lan in Taiwan (and I couldn't swim); hot-ballooning above Angkor Wat (and I suffered from acrophobia); rafting in Mt. Wuyi in China (and I couldn't swim); living in a secluded village in the mountains with farmers for a week, learning how to wash clothes by the river and starting to appreciate simplicity and pristine nature in life; almost got killed by rabies in India; sardined in the most jammed train where I could only stand on single foot and felt greatly relieved and rejoiced after surviving the 3-hour trip from Pingyao to Taiyuan; sleeping in various airports; chasing every train and plane on my trips; chased by the police after arousing the alarm in a church in Český Krumlov due to unquenchable curiosity; passing the frigidest winter in my life in Poland for a promised visit; strolling in Shanghai aimlessly almost the whole night with a serial killer who was not only well versed in martial arts but even brought a knife with him; meeting that serial killer again in Taipei and in Paris; taking a train to Lhasa without a permit and guide as a Taiwanese; hitchhiking from Baishuitai to Hutiaoxia (the first hitchhiking experience) and the driver turned out to be the singer of a rock band based in Beijing; fulfilling the two-day trek in Tiger Teaping Gorge with a group of friends met on the road...Being with me, you have to have a very strong heart since many unbelievably stupid and crazy incidents or accidents will just happen. I don't look for adventures; they simply follow me. :P

"I believe if there’s any kind of God, it wouldn’t be in any of us. Not you or me, but just this little space in between. If there’s any kind of magic in this world it must be in the attempt of understanding someone, sharing something. I know, it’s almost impossible to succeed but… who cares really? The answer must be in the attempt."
