I worked in wilderness therapy for 2 years and then hiked the AT in ‘19 and settled back into my hometown after. In ‘20, I started a business that makes & offers refills for basic personal and household care products to reduce waste and educate about sustainability. I was also elected to town council in ‘21 and love to dream about bike & pedestrian prioritization, local sourcing + local economy, and conservation of native plant species and ecology.

In my personal time, I like hiking + backpacking, meditating (Vipassana), painting, journaling, reading, and recently have been taking classes in forest therapy and naturalism.

Initially I got on Couchsurfing as a traveler when I was living abroad, but now I’m on here to welcome people into my home - to meet new friends and also to pay it forward for all the generosity and support I have received from strangers.

I can share outdoor living methods & primitive skills like bow drilling and plant ID, wild foods and tea. I’m also wanting to start teaching drawing, painting, pinhole photography.

I love learning new skills and crafts. I like learning and sharing recipes, want to learn to sew, and anything outdoorsy.
