About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore as much of New Zealand as I can in the three weeks that I'll be there!
ABOUT ME
I'm originally from New York City, but I'm currently a junior at Georgetown University, in Washington D.C. I'm 20 years old, I have no idea what I want to do with my life, and I don't plan on figuring it out anytime soon. I'm a double major in Math and Studio Art with a concentration in Drawing and Printmaking, so my life, interests, and dreams are all over the place. I try to smile whenever I can, which is most of the time, and I love to have any and all sorts of fun. I'm open to doing any and all new things, so much as I'm pretty much guaranteed to live afterwards, and even if I'm not, I'll still usually go out of my way to try something insane.
PHILOSOPHY
Only say no if whatever you're saying no to makes you feel uncomfortable in a bad way. Otherwise, always go for it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, but I'm still young.
Interests
Out of everything I do a regular basis, I would have to say cooking is my favorite hobby. I also love to meet new people, swim, explore, discover new music, and a lot of other things that all sound pretty corny when I try to write them down.
- arts
- cooking
- drawing
- music
- swimming
- mathematics
Music, Movies, and Books
Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Social Network, Blackfish, and Supersize Me, are all some of my favorite movies, but I also have a bunch more that I can't begin to list.
As far as music, my tastes are allll over the place. I love hip-hop/rap, chill house, down tempo stuff, electro-soul, I don't even know there's so much I like! Here's a link to my soundcloud if you're interested though :) soundcloud.com/rebeccanthony
1984 is my favorite book!
Teach, Learn, Share
Since I grew up in New York City, I never learned how to drive...which sucks for me, but it's something I would love to (and need to!) learn. I would definitely be able to teach someone a thing or two about cooking.
