Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Still struggling with studying basic Korean even after 8 months of living in Seoul T-T
ABOUT ME
I'd describe myself as a friendly, broad-minded person with a huge interest in cultures, languages, people and their lifes, books, music and whatever comes in my mind.
PHILOSOPHY
I admire smart people who say smart things about life, and although I often reflect on certain aspects of life, I wouldn't say that there is a certain dogma or philosophy that I live according to.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people, especially locals! It helped me a lot e.g. everytime I felt lost in a new place. It's such an amazing concept to connect people from all over the world. I appreciate the help I received from so many people out there who -with their big hearts- made me feel welcome wherever I was. '
And one day, when I have my own apartment, I will host CSers a lot as well!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
99% of my couchsurfing experiences were awesome. I had the pleasure to stay with people who are interested in me and the German culture, who are great cooks and just like hosting people. It really changed my mind about having strangers at home. Now that I hosted someone from CS I know how hard it is!
Intereses
MUSIC:
One of my top 5 most hated questions is: "What kind of music do you listen to?"
Because everytime I say "almost anything", someone replies "also metal and rock?" (because clearly I don't look it), and nooo I don't listen to metal or rock, but not because I think it's terrible music, but because it's just not my thing. I try to acccept any music style and love to be surprised by people who give me their headphones and say "listen to it, you'll like it"
PS: favorite music: everything ever composed by Joe Hisaishi
CULTURE:
There is no better reason for travelling ( actually you don't even need one) in life than to broaden one's horizon and learn something about a new country.
It's refreshing, makes you think about your life-style and also astonishes you sometimes (in a positive and negative way).
Studying all my psychology books at university can't teach me half of the things I learned through traveling and meeting people!

Música, películas y libros
I was the bookworm in my family. The girl that used to go to the library with two bags, knowing that they'd be full of books on my way back home and empty in a couple of days. At the moment I can't be proud of myself when it comes to reading books. It is as if travelling filled my mind with so many things that I can't concentrate on a story anymore. I became more absent-minded. I think I'm not the only person with that problem, maybe we could give this phenomenon a name.
But of course while the frequency of my library visits declined, my interest for movies and especially tv shows has gone up. I love (!) going to the cinema, I'm a big fan of independent movies and can't get enough of Ghibli Movies!
Algo increíble que he hecho
Singing alone in front of 1000 people at a musical production.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
German is my mother tongue, so if there is anyone who wants to learn this language, I'll be happy to help him. Besides I speak French (basic) and did judo for eight years. And I'm keen on everything that has to do with music and singing :D
