ABOUT ME

Fresh from university I've moved out to live and work in Kazakhstan. I had no idea what to expect, but have had no regrets since arriving; I've enjoyed every minute of my work and life here so far.

There is so much of the world that I haven't seen and would love to. Maybe that will be next.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to surf, host and meet people passing through - the full works.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted and met a number of couchsurfers, some individuals and some groups. My experiences have all been positive, and I have also made new and long-lasting friends with some of them.

Interests

Sport, both playing and watching. Mainly tennis, skiing and a bit of football, but I'll have a go at most things. I must have set a new record for the most number of balls bowled in an over a while back, but still enjoyed myself whilst doing it!

Making music; singing, oboe.

Theatre and Musical Theatre.

I've worked on sound and lighting for amateur and professional fringe theatre companies. I've spent a fair amount of time on this and enjoyed it a lot, especially touring SW France.

Expanding my knowledge through conversation with others about their interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

Various films, a lot of which are comedies. Airplane and Anchorman are favourites, as well as French film Le Diner de Cons.

Indie music, and odd songs that I hear and decide I like. I can't stand Lady Gaga. I also love Musical Theatre, especially Les Miserables.
