ABOUT ME

I'm always looking for an adventure and will do anything to avoid being bored and ordinary. I love traveling for what it shows me about myself, about others, and about the world. I'm generally very outgoing and happy, but I'm very much influenced by my environment, so if it's rainy and dark out and I'm surrounded by gloomy people, I'll be a little down, but I prefer to surround myself with the sun and cheerful people, and so far, I've been lucky enough to always have found amazing, caring friends, if not always the sun!

My 3 favorite things in the world are: 1) getting to know someone really interesting or catching up on amazing things my old friends are up to, 2) getting to know a new city, from the way the neighborhodds are spread out to the way the city moves, and 3) finding amazing food!

I'm full of contradictions, and in my neverending quest to learn and grow, I'm sure I'll develop some more!

PHILOSOPHY

“Beneath all the makeup and behind the smile, I'm just the girl who wishes for the world.” - Marilyn Monroe

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel frequently during the week for work, so I take advantage of weekends to travel and to connect with old and new friends. I'm happy to meet with CSers on the weekends, but due to my unstable schedule, I find it hard to host

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I make an effort to at least meet up with couchsurfers everywhere I go because I find that we're all connected by not just a passion for traveling but also very similar outlooks on life and experiencing all that the world has to offer, which I think is amazing! The hospitality and generosity of the many friends I've met through Couchsurfing makes me smile every day!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love literature, so the books I love are too many to count, but Fitzgerald and Faulkner are dear to my heart. I love all kinds of music, especially electronic right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biking down a volcano in Maui with my dad at sunrise, skydiving in the Swiss Alps, climbing Trolltunga in Norway, riding a camel at sunrise at the pyramids in Cairo, camping under the stars in Wadi Rum, climbing all around Petra

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm trying to get scuba-certified right now so that I can dive. I love learning about a country's food and culture, and in return, I'll share what I know about cooking, French, Italian, English, and Chinese. I can also teach you how to play piano!
