About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy Bs As to the full

ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as someone who is positive, I try and look on the bright side of life and enjoy it while I can. My friends think I’m a little crazy, but in a good way. I'm also curious and spontaneous.

PHILOSOPHY

Always make the most of it

Never regret a thing

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm now an active member of the CS community, trying to go to as many CS events here in Buenos Aires as I can. I had my first CS experience at Roberto's, in Iquique, Chile, and it was even better than I could have ever imagined, and can't even think of another way to travel and know people and places now!

Music, Movies, and Books

All sorts... I read a lot and listen to a lot of music.

Among my favourite books (hay tantos!): Belle du Seigneur (Albert Cohen), El viejo que leía novelas de amor (Luis Sepúlveda), Animal farm (George Orwell), La duchesse de Langeais (Balzac), A l'ombre des jeunes filles en fleur (Proust), La fée carabine (Daniel Pennac), any Amélie Nothomb or Erik Orsenna book and the odd Harlan Coben and Nick Hornby.

I can't live without music. If I'm sad, I put on a great song, start singing along to it, and I feel happy again. Among my favourtie singers/groups: Morcheeba, Noir Désir, Mano Solo, Janis Joplin, and many many many more.

Some movies that I really liked: Le péril jeune (Cédric Klapish), Snatch, The pianist, Finding Nemo (I´m a big pixar fan), Swimming with sharks, La vie rêvée des anges, Fargo, Mujeres al borde de una crisis de nervios, etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sur Lipez and the Salar de Uyuní (Bolivia), the tropical forest and the Amazon in Ecuador, motoski in Canada, Rome, my brother's wedding in Guinea, my niece's laugh

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be an English and French teacher, so I can still teach that! I'm a journalist now, I have a lot of experience in editing but could use some teaching about filming and taking photographies! I'm hoping to become an independent reporter some time...

What I like to share generally speaking? a laugh, a smile, a good night out, a glass of good red wine, tears, friendship, and anything my friends need me for.
