Hi! We are just starting out in Burbank, CA. We Couchsurfed around the Midwest, and hosted all kinds of surfers when I taught with the JET Program in Hokkaido, Japan, but I don't know what happened to my profile! I probably deleted it for privacy or something.
We have an 8 year old daughter, an elderly dog, and a friendly cat. We prefer to host families, but are open to other travelers too. It is just a little vulnerable with a child, you know?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is my main dream in life, and as a mother who is getting older, it is hard to say I even have a dream in writing. Traveling is too expensive for a world that is so beautiful. We just have a humble place to share, but if you don't mind a fold out couch or futon with a family and if you like animals, come on over!

An open mind. Curiousity. I will play or teach all the board games.
Do you mind a dog or cat coming too? Gosh, we adopted these animals and it makes it tough to find a place to stay and they live a long time because we take good care of them!
