One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Looking at the stars from the beach in the San Blas Islands, learning to Tango, Cumbia, and Salsa. Enjoying friends from around the world. Serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mexico .... Mirando las astrellas por la playa de San Blas, aprendiendo Tango, Cumbia, y Salsa. Desfrutando amigos global. Servicio como voluntario en Peace Corps en Mexico.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching experiences avail themselves frequently. Whether reviewing an English lesson, teaching simple Spanish to indigenous peoples, or helping with a school interview or project, there are always opportunities to get involved. One time, I bought books to teach two boys in our neighborhood. When we had our lessons mothers, grandmothers, little children ... everyone came to participate. Some translated, some practiced reading, others proudly demonstrated their skills. Each time I teach I am more blessed by what is shared with me than what I am able to give.

In Mexico and through Peace Corps I have had more incredible teaching opportunities working with masters and doctorate students at one of the nation's highest regarded research centers. They have amazed me with their research and we have become great friends.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have moved to Mexico City and no longer have space to host for now. I'd love to meet for a cup of coffee and an offer travel suggestions for Mexico and Panama.

I love to share a great inside look into Mexico ... friends, food, culture, places!
