ABOUT ME

I am honest, intuitive, smart, and witty. I enjoy socializing with people who are down right hilarious and sometimes very loud. However, I am a nerd at heart and enjoy philosophical conversations that get real... like really real... like could change the world real. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and my proudest accomplishment is my 5 year old son. I like to sing, dance, party, and it just so happens I am a paid musician on the weekends. I dig hospitality and feel most certainly fulfilled when I can provide a warm welcome to others who need a place to rest their dreary, and not so dreary heads. <3

PHILOSOPHY

Anything is a religion, as long as you love it enough. It's never too soon to say "I love you" so long as you mean it- it's also never too late. I am a Humanist in the way that I believe all people are inherently good, and that it is nature and tragedy which bring us into character. No one person is defined by their past and no one person should have to revisit that past in order to be accepted in the present. Come as you are-be honest-with yourself and all of those who seem to care for you. Respect. Peace. Love. are basic foundations for this spiritual life I live. The blank pages stare before me; let's write.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I figure if I cannot afford to leave my country at the moment, then I would like to bring the country to me. Being hospitable and helping my brothers and sisters gives me immediate and sincere gratification.

My couch is open, my heart is warm, my food is goooooood.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far my roommate and I have hosted a small number of couch surfers... and we are loving every minute of it! It's so amazing.. I can't wait to have a book full of couch surfing photos and memories. I most certainly have enjoyed late night conversations over beer and whiskey, random trips to catch the sunset over the mountains, and of course stopping to drink fresh freezing spring water on the way, just because we can. "And we can't stop.. and We won't stop..."

Interests

In my free time I hang out with my son (I have him only part time and he is number 1!) I also like to read, hike, write, dance, be with friends, consume fancy dinners and beverages (and pay way too much for them :))) I love conversations about peace, the inner mind and soul, philosophy, spirituality, and respect for all man kind.
