About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to have a good time, while maintaining a socially responsible lifestyle. I want to see places and make an international network of friends, and pursue my bliss!
ABOUT ME
I think my friends would say that I'm funny, chatty, inquisitive, independent, and generally a good time. I probably talk too much at first. A good giver of advice, most of the time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had one really good experience couch surfing in Louisiana. I Went to a New Orleans Bounce party, met the Voodoo Priestess (not at the party), saw some great live music and tasted the most elaborately garnished Bloody Mary's.
Interests
I really like people. I love hearing and telling stories. I like the outdoors, hiking, strolling. Eating. Art. Music. I know these are broad claims shared by most humans. I guess I'm afraid of alienating anyone by getting more into depth with rare confections such as licorice toffee. I like thrift stores. The Doobie Brothers. Riding bicycles, leisurely. American History. Painting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Zadie Smith, Truman Capote, Gore VIdal, Michael Cunningham, David Foster Wallace. I love Bob Dylan and the Band. Steely Dan and Tom Waits. And Gillian Welch. And Roxy Music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed mountain peaks one summer in Montana on an Outward Bound, and found myself standing inside of a cloud, in a hail storm. I thought 'If I die' which plausibly could have happened, because I was out of shape and dizzy and could not see the edge, 'they can at least say that I was doing something cool'.
