About Me

Hello! I’m a curious and adventurous student from Hungary. Currently pursuing my Master's degree at a university, right now, I'm spending my Erasmus semester in beautiful Tenerife. I have a passion for active pursuits, especially hiking and cycling, which allow me to explore new landscapes and connect with nature.
Food is another big love of mine. I enjoy trying new dishes, experimenting with recipes, and learning the art of cooking and baking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here on Couchsurfing to connect with people who know their home inside and out, and can share their unique insights and favorite spots. I count on their experience to help me see beyond the usual tourist paths.
I love getting to know different cultures and learning how things work in each country I visit. As a guest, it's important to me to be respectful and mindful of local customs and culture.
When I’m hosting, I aim to do the same. I enjoy showing visitors around, sharing my favorite places, and offering tips on how things work in my country. I want to help make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible, while giving you a glimpse of my world through my perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is really wide, I usually pick music to my actual mood. According to books, currently I started to read resumes of successful people which gave me so much motivation to fill my life with adventure and be more aware of my surroundings. From this pile my favorite book is R. Kiyosaki - Rich dad, poor dad. As from novels, I would go with Szédítő Balaton, from a Hungarian writer, Angelika R. Kelényi. Finally, my favourite movie is "Catch me if you can", starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently, I hiked up Mount Teide, the tallest volcano in Spain, and I did it at night to catch the sunrise from the top. It was one of the toughest challenges I’ve ever faced—climbing in the dark, battling the altitude, and pushing through exhaustion. But when I reached the top and saw the first light of the day spilling over the horizon, it was absolutely worth it. That moment made me feel like I could accomplish anything.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m a firm believer in life-long learning. There’s always something new to discover! I love sharing everything I know, whether it’s small practical tips or bigger ideas that have made an impact in my life. For me, knowledge is incredibly valuable, and I enjoy exchanging it with others. Whether it’s a useful hack, a new recipe, or a deep conversation about life, I’m always eager to teach, learn, and share experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe that onnecting with people and sharing experiences are important. I’m always excited to offer what I know. I can share insights about life in Hungary, from our traditions to what makes my country unique. Since cooking is one of my passions, I’d be more than happy to teach you some of my favorite Hungarian or international dishes, or we can even cook something together!
If you're into outdoor activities like hiking or cycling, I’d love to join you on an adventure or suggest some great trails.
For those interested in language practice, I’m happy to help with Hungarian or English conversation.
I’ve also gathered plenty of travel tips from my adventures, so I can offer advice on visiting Hungary or other destinations I’ve explored, including local hidden gems.
Beyond that, I just enjoy good company. Sharing stories, having meaningful conversations, and spending time together over a meal or a cup of coffee are always sound amazing.
