Overview
About Me
I am Rebekka from Germany, travelling around South/Central America. Right now I am in Guatemala. I am doing Couchsurfing during this journey, because I want to get an authentic feel of the countries and get to know local people.
I love travelling and have travelled quite a bit around Europe before starting my South / Central American trip in Ecuador. I like to document my journey and taking videos.
Also I have a passion for music, play the piano and am learning to play the ukulele. I also enjoy doing yoga and bouldering. I like deep conversations and socializing, but I am also a rather introverted person and enjoy solitude and a good book for recharging at times.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience Central America authentically, share stories with locals and get a peek into every day life here. In the past I have travelled around doing mostly workaway jobs. With trying couchsurfing I also want to step a little more outside my comfort zone because I believe this is where life starts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking a sail boat from Colombia to Panama
Teach, Learn, Share
I am of the opinion, that the best way of travelling is not only checking of tourist attractions of a list, but interacting with local people, learning about their culture and lifestyle and meeting other likeminded people from all over the world. I would love to learn about your life and your country.
What I Can Share with Hosts
conversations, stories, vegan cooking/baking, a song on my ukulele
