I’m currently finishing my apprenticeship as nurse in Augsburg, South Germany. When not travelling visiting friends and family all over Germany I’m usually somewhere on the road going hiking, mountain biking or some other outdoor activity. I love being in move, jumping into new challenges and getting to know my own limits, exploring new places and cultures. On the other hand I would call me a very peaceful and grounded person, deeply rooted in faith, enjoying a cup of coffee and a good talk just the same as the kick of adventure.

meeting locals simply is the best way of travelling! I’ve never been the “Hotel and beach” person, though not with the official Couchsurfing website always staying at people’s homes or hostels/camping etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Past summer I was cycling from the mountain area of Geneva to the Mediterranean Sea in South France together with a friend sleeping wherever we found a beautiful place or nice people hosting us. It also was my first experience of taking my Mountainbike into a plane - something I wouldn’t recommend doing 😆
But there are several amazing experiences I made like riding on the roof top of a bus down the curvy mountain roads of Nepal, knitting see wheat with some fishermen on remote Philippine islands, hanging out and singing songs with leprosy affected people in India listening to their stories...mostly it’s small moments or encounters that make a travel special!
