ABOUT ME

I'm 29 years old and had a sort of "life-break" in London. Then, I moved to Holland for a while but the city I was living was too small, so I came back to Sao Paulo.

It was quite difficult to start my life here again cos I miss loads of things from my life in Europe, but life has to go on. Sao Paulo is an amazing city, famous for it's nightlife and numerous things to do. There's always something different to see, and I used to miss this in a small town.

So I want to experience my own city in a different way. Go to different places, meet different people. I would love to take you out and show everything I like around here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've received some friends in my house and a few people from CS... So I'm looking forward to offering my couch to anyone who's interested when I can!

Besides that, I've met some really interesting people through CS around the world going to meetings or inviting people for a beer.

Interests

I love to make contact with strangers. People have so many things to say, so many different views and stories to share with us, that I think is a pity we barely look at each other in the daily life. I like writing about that as well, so I keep a blog with stories about my life (if you can read Portuguese, take a look: www.rebiscoito.com.br)

I also like drawing, cooking, internet and, as a good Brazilian, ice cold beer ;D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hummm... Tough one! I think the cultural differences are always pretty surprising. For exemple, a girl I've met in London, who told me she had 12 dogs, 23 cats, 3 snakes, 1 elephant and a giraffe as "pets" in her home in Thailand. Or the English bankers using suits, sleeping on the floor at the tube station cos they had too many drinks. You would never see a business man losing control like this in my country, hahaha. But anyway, I think I still have looooads to see and do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make a good caipirinha - the original one, made with cachaça! And also some things about the Brazilian culture, specially about relationships like: "how to approach a Brazilian person in a party?" hahahaha I'm joking, I just like talking about this kind of stuff ;)

And I'd like to learn some cultural differences that we have between our countries. It can be so interesting!
