ABOUT ME

I'm a songwriter and performer, love jamming with people. Currently an Undergrad English Writing major. Travel is a big passion of mine, and I always have a place to stay for a traveler in need.

Just now learning French, so that's a little shaky. I love different cultures and perspectives on life!

Right now I'm going back to college to pursue my Bachelor's Degree. I'm free most afternoons and weekends. I love having people over for parties, or going to events myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Traveled cross-country (from Tennessee, to California, and back) and met so many amazing people! Now, I can't wait to host anyone who needs a place to crash.

Interests

Songwriting, guitar, orchestra, music. Creative Writing, poetry. Architecture, history, art, big cities, beautiful scenery. Reading, basically any genre. If it's well-written, I'll read it. I love the rain, BPAL, knitting, pets (dogs, cats, birds, lizards, snakes, etc.). I'm fascinated by acting (I wish I knew how to do it), other cultures, and other lifestyles in general. I LOVE other languages, though I'm only fluent in English, but I'm most definitely willing to learn.

Books: Pride and Prejudice, Phantom, The Hunger Games, 1984, Brave New World, writing by Richard Matheson, Neil Gaiman, Glen Duncan, George Orwell. Currently reading the Harry Potter books for the very first time. You won't catch me without a few of my favourite books toting around in the trunk of my car.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Conducted a (children's) orchestra to perform a song I wrote. They were amazing!
