About Me

Guys please check my availability and calendar on my couch description before sending me an excessive amount of messages with empty proposals and copy paste, I understand it is difficult to stay in Amsterdam and to find a host but you make us more difficult to find YOU: the guys who really take care of Couchsurfing project vs the bloody copy pasters and Free-Hotel minded New couchsurfing people. Sorry to say that but this is getting full of #$%%& people.

I receive around 10 messages per day between private messages and requests.
most of them are complete empty done by people who think this is free hotel site.

I have found incredible people in CS , best friends for life and even my partner, but I can't help all of you. Write me something in your request that looks original, and address it to me......

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common
than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won´t have time to describe all the amazing things I saw in my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a three bedroom house. You will sleep in the living room, we have a mattress, pillows and covers, so don't worry.

My dog sleeps with us in the room. If you are allergic to dogs let me know so I can clean the floor of the living room very well (my dog is a short hair one) I had host my best friend who is allergic to dogs and cats and he can sleep at my place for several nights.

You can use our kitchen but please clean everything, including the stove afterwards. You can use my fridge and in general we try to be as easy and share as much we have, coffee, bread, breakfast is not a big deal for us.

We ask very basic rules, rules that before the couchsurfing "explosion" were definitely no need to ask o set up. But ever since the past 2 - 3 years more people come with a very different idea of what couchsurfing was about. So here are my basic rules if you are welcome at my place or you better get a Hostal room:

1- Clean your mess. NO I don't need to ask, I don't need to explain, your glass, your ashtray your sucks in the middle of my living room etc, etc and clean it same day. (is still my living room) put your things in your bag.

2- If you come here to party hard and expect to wake up 2.00 p.m to leave my house around 5.00 p.m you better find a Hotel or a Hostel.

3- I don't need to knock the door of my living room to remind you is my living room, you can enjoy my house of course, we can make dinner, drink beer, smoke, but if you love privacy and be alone definitely need a Hotel.

4- This is a funny one because nowadays mobiles are mini computer but still have experiences: My computer is mine. You need directions I can provide, need a usb to print something SURE!; but is not internet café that you could download your staff on it, and is not for facebook status, twitter, or whatever social media.

5- I am sorry to say this one but believe me I mean it right. You don't need to make "4 euros pasta" to be grateful. Really, I will instead cook for you and you bring 4 euros in beers and we will have a great time. If you don't have anything left to spare I don't mind either!. Maybe you decide to do the dishes after eating with us, that's how couchsurfing use to be. You don't have any cent to spare, do something you thing we may need, It is not that you come to clean my house in exchange but is about you do something to say thank you. I even got once flowers from a couple that were couchsurfing and travelling around the world with a super tight budget, they walked around the canals and cut wild flowers and bring it as a gift. Another Serbian guy decide to take my dog out for a walk every morning, That is all about!!!

6- A very simples ones related to my dog; that people seem not to realize, I do have a pet, is a big dog, is very kind and nice, is well behaved, he WILL NOT eat you or your shoes ;-) (but your cookies or your bread he will so watch out)

If you are scared of dogs but wanna give him a chance to prove how kind he is, you are welcome!!!. I promise he will do his best to prove he is a peace maker. and after few days you will feel much aquatany to dogs that ever before, he is a sort of therapy dog.

If you are ultimately scare of dogs and you will be sitting in my sofa with your legs up shaking and watching every movement of my dog while faking have a conversation with me, honestly I CAN'T locked him up for you. We never do!
But we did have a group of girls that they even put chairs behind the door before going to sleep because they were completely scared of dogs.

Playing with the dog wildly in the middle of the night is a BAD IDEA all right?? have you seen a Dobermann running to catch the ball at 1.30 am in a 80 squate metrs flat???? Well I did!! and it is a very Bad Idea ok? just common sense people, wanna play hard with him and make him jump and run go to the park 8 mins foot from my place.... PLEASE
