CURRENT MISSION

I am on a mission to become a video game designer.

ABOUT ME

Well, I'm a bit of a nerd. I spend lots of my time playing video games (hence the desire to become a video game designer). I also play guitar and sing. I've been involved in the open mic scene here in Tucson for a little while, and I've even got to play a one-hour set on live TV earlier this month. When I travel, there's a good chance I'll bring a guitar with me, and can play some songs for you. :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everything happens for a reason, and that every human being has the potential to achieve success and happiness if they keep themselves receptive to the limitless ways that the universe provides opportunities for them.

I also believe very strongly that life should not be taken too seriously. Laugh whenever possible and don't let others' negative viewpoints drag you down. Life is meant to be a challenge, but all work should have an element of fun.

Do what you truly love, and the rest will fall into place.

Favorite TV shows are Dr. Who, The Office, Heroes, Chuck, Highlander (that's an old one, though)...

Favorite foods: pasta! (Fettuccini Alfredo is my weakness), New England clam chowder, anything with bacon...

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movie is "Toys" with Robin Williams. Very quirky and whimsical movie. I almost feel like this movie is a glimpse into the way that my own mind works.

Pink Floyd has been my favorite band since I was a kid (inherited my musical taste from my dad). But I listen to all kinds of music; from classical and jazz, to R&B, Heavy Metal, and Techno. I play a lot of music video games too, like Dance Dance Revolution, so I like a lot of weird J-Pop stuff as well. Haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just went skydiving for the first time a week ago! :D

...It was awesome. I'll definitely do it again. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely offer some guitar-playing and singing, and maybe even teach a little bit of that too?

My education is in Graphic Design, and I would be willing to provide knowledge in that arena as well (I do charge for any actual work that I do, though). ;)

I am trying to find my way into the video game industry right now, and would like to meet anyone who can offer me some advice or tips. Someone who is, in some way, connected with the industry.
