About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore and experience everything I can.

ABOUT ME

I was born in a small village in India. I left when I was 8 years old and live in Seattle, Washington. I can be very social and enthusiastic about the smallest things. I love spending time with my friends and absolutely love interacting with the international world. I don't tend to get worked up about many things and it takes a lot to get me angry. But I am really passionate about my interests and beliefs. I'm always open and receptive to new thoughts and ideas and fully enjoy learning about others and their opinions.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest, a cliche but a rather good one. I grew up in a very tiny Indian village and when I came to the U.S. I was completely blown away. I always wanted to go to a city and experience something outside of my small world. My past life in that small village has disappeared but my dream to experience new worlds has remained intact.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To begin with, I have never couch surfed or hosted before. I'm looking forward to beginning my experience in this community. I'm hoping my first experiences within this community will propel me to host and meet many other couch surfers around the world.

Interests

Music - I love going to concerts and festivals. I'm really blessed to live in Seattle where music thrives.

Reading - A good book can always entertain me and keep me occupied for hours.

Anything outdoors - I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, swimming, and running. I can be very anxious before doing something intense such as rock climbing (mainly because I'm scared of heights) but I always want to try something at least once.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably not that amazing for many people, but I had my first bike ride ever this month in Prague. I ran into a tree, people, and almost into a lake. After two days and 7 hours, I can happily say that I can ride a bike!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an international business and econ student. I try to keep informed about the recent times around the world and would love to share my thoughts about the corporate world. I'm hoping to join the Peace Corp when I get out of college, and through people in this community I hope to learn more about the ways I can help a society with my degree.
