Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm sad to say that I haven't had the wonderful chance of being able to host any couchsurfers. When I discovered this amazing website I was already on way traveling the world as an English teacher. I currently live in Bali, Indonesia and after being here for 6 months I finally have my own place to host a surfer!! :) so I guess the way I have participated is by being an awesome fun time in any country I visit :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experience started when 8 of my co-workers from the Republic of Georgia decided to spend Thanksgiving 2011 in Yerevan, Armenia. Reza one of the most amazing hosts I've ever had hosted all 9 of us and we had a blast! So much fun that my friend Cynthia and I went back for Christmas and New Years. We made our way to Istanbul, Turkey and stayed with out rock n roll buddy Bilgehan. We saw beautiful sights, drank tea, ate amazing food and even got to watch him kill it on the bass in his metal band. The fun didn't stop there we made our way up to Bucharest, Romania and stayed with a very sweet guy named Sefa although he had a very busy schedule he made time to take us out to grab some beers at and awesome pub. We decided we couldn't leave Romania with out checking out Brasov and Dracula's Castle. There we stayed with the wonderful Bella and her brother. They took us on the most amazing snowboarding adventure. After Romania we made our way back down to Bulgaria and stayed with the beautiful Natalia in Sofia and enjoyed an amazing home made dinner and some wine. I can't wait to keep adding more to this section :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i have seen and done alot of amazing things, but seeing my baby sister have her first baby boy in april was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life... he is the best and at 9 months just learned how to wave to me on Skype.

skills i have are creativity, an open mind, and teaching english and pickling. i want to learn anything that someone is willing to teach me. you can never have too many skills.
