About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going guy who is fascinated by culture. I love hearing people's stories and experiences. I'm infatuated with other languages, and I love learning new phrases in other languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My wife and I would love to host people. I'm also looking forward to saving on hotel costs and meeting people through this site.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted several families through Couchsurfing. We absolutely love it. Jenna and I love breaking out of the mold of the typical privatized mentality that is common in Americans. Life is ours to share and to serve! We can't wait to host more people! I've also had a great experience surfing a couch myself. My host was very hospitable and generous. Nothing but great experiences through Couchsurfing!

Interests

Jesus, Jenna (my wife), CrossFit, swing dancing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Other than marrying the most wonderful woman I have ever known, I recently travelled to Togo (a small country in West Africa). It was my first time outside of the US, and I loved it. I felt like it was home away from home. I loved meeting new people, seeing how different people live, and it was a privilege to be there for the purpose of serving the Togolese in the ways that I did. I went with a non-profit group. Jenna and I also traveled to Haiti last year.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a degree in philosophy, so I love learning and sharing different worldviews.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Haiti, Togo, United Arab Emirates
