About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn, live, and love

ABOUT ME

My name is Andrea and I'm from the desert. I am a nerd who likes the outdoors and adventures, and I am on this site to prepare for my upcoming Europe travels!

PHILOSOPHY

Learn as much as you can about everything; you'll never know when it may come in handy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I can't host anyone, and my schedule's kind of crazy. But I enjoy travelling to other places and meeting new people who can show you the lay of their turf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some awesome people in Rome at the CS New Year's party! Also, my boyfriend is currently hosting an Aussie CS-er, and we've just been having a great time showing around town, hunting javelina, and all sorts of things uniquely Tucson.

Interests

Running, cycling, swimming, sleeping, geocaching, traveling, cars, motorcycles, reading, eating, off-roading, talking and listening to people, learning new things (yes it sounds cliche but it's true)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll listen to just about any type of music, but my favorite genres are alternative rock, country, and hard rock. I absolutely love reading, but because of school, I don't get a lot of time for that. Same goes with movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Through the university, I have helped my fellow engineering students raise funds for, design, fabricate, and test an off-road vehicle. And it actually performs reasonably well! We travel all around the U.S. going to SAE Baja competitions, and it's just a ton of fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm born and raised in Tucson, AZ, so I know the lay of the land pretty well. Any questions about what to do, what time of year to come here, etc. I can answer (or point you in the right direction!).
