ABOUT ME

Well, always when im out travelling and meeting new people, they tend to call me "one of the crazy norwegian girls" or "a hardass norwegian viking" or something like that. Parts of the reason is probably my talent in partying, but I also think (or like to think) that im a very positive, easygoing and in genereal a very happy person. I love to travel to new places (and old), meeting new people and just live life to the fullest. I don't take things too seriously and have a pretty chilled attitude. I always try to see the good in everyone and I think I've learned a lot about myself after meeting so many great people from around the world.

I wouldn't trade my travels for anything in the world, it has becomed my passion. Even though I've done a bunch of crazy stuff out there, I never regret anything. When im out travelling I do exactly what I feel like doing, and I love that feeling. And I always feel heartbroken when my trip is over, and I curse and is angry at myself for having so much fun, because it makes it so much harder when its over.

I come from this small city called Førde (voted ugliest city in Norway several time, makes it worth visiting, huh?), but now im moving to beautiful Bergen to start my studies. Cant really imagine myself as a serious student, but I will certainly try. But there is a chance I will need a break once in a while, and I will definately use those for travelling. I also plan my second year as an exchange student somewhere, hasnt really decided where yet! BUT I CANT WAIT!! :D

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live life to the fullest and always take chances that pops up along the way. I would definately rather regret something I did, than regret something I didnt. What doesnt harm you, just makes you stronger and wiser. And bonus: you get so many good stories to tell!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friend Lill is crazy about this couchsurfing thing, and now im too. I think its an amazing idea and are looking forward to try it in the near future!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a lot of couchsurfers and always have a lot of fun. I live with my mum, and therefore havent hosted anyone yet. Have never couchsurfed myself either, but are really considering it for my future travels.
Went to several CS events, and couchsurfed during a hitch hiking trip this summer. It was an adventure :D

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

- Iguazu Falls, Brazil. Oh my god, it was amazing! Couldnt talk for several minutes.
- Grand Canyon, Arizona USA. I'm not really a nature person, but this was soo cool!
- Skydiving, Taupo New Zealand. "IIIIIK!!! Im gonna die!!! No? Wait? This is AWESOME"
- Nevis Bungy jumping, Queenstown New Zealand. When I was standing on the little wooden thing, knowing I would be 134 meter somewhere down there in 10 seconds, I blacked out. Can't remember jumping, just the incredible feeling of a crazy adrealin rush. Luckily I have a video :)
- "Surfing" the east coast of Australia. Well, it was more like TRYING to surf. Its HARD! But it was so much fun trying and Australia was great.
- Fullmoon party, Koh Pagnan Thailand. One beach, 10000 people, buckets with boose, loud music, dancing all night. Need to say more? :D
- Bula life on Fiji. God, what a lovely life in the hammocks.
- Spring break in Mexico. So many good memories, I just laugh every time I think about those Mexico times!
