About Me
TEMPORARILY NOT ACCEPTING GUESTS UNTIL END OF JULY 2016
Born in USSR, grown up in Armenia, moved around a lot for study and work, ended up in Brussels (so far)... Been all over the place, in short.
Traveler by nature, discoverer by hobby, citizen of the world by affiliation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
What's the difference between a traveler and a tourist? Exactly! I don't want to be a tourist, I want to be a traveler. Ideally, I'd like to be a "local" everywhere, and CS helps to get as close to the sense of "localcy" (is there even such a word?) as possible.
Interests
One interest that hasn't changed through time: everything that's new.
I appreciate good food in good company; enjoy long walks accompanied with fascinating discoveries of history and architecture; love to spend evenings at an open-air concert with good people and cold drinks... But this list could go on and on, it also changes over time.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite: music, movies, books. Specific examples change over time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmm... Only one? :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Day to day interaction is the best way to learn and teach. Nothing fancy, nothing academic, not necessarily structured into coherent text or catching graphics.
Information is the only good (in the economics sense of the world) that multiplies when shared. Have 10 euros? You'll have 0 if you give those 10 to me. But if you share your 10 "euros" of knowledge with me, we'll have 20! Isn't that fascinating? :)
