About Me

Please mind: we're away May 13th - June 2nd 2015, won't be hosting in that time.

Hello CS! :) My name is Paweł, and I recently re-discovered couchsurfing. Hosting and surfing with my lovely wife Kasia (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/thunderbunny). I speak English, Polish, sukoshi Japanese and I remember some German from high school... kinda.

We're very friendly and open-minded people. We have a small apartment and I work from home, so sadly we cannot host too often, but we try our best :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We've had a wonderful experience surfing and we decided to give back to the community. So far everyone is super-nice. Turns out hosting is even more rewarding than surfing.

Interests

Drawing, art, guitar, climbing, riding a motorcycle, making mobile games, web design, a little coding. I usually juggle 5 hobbies or so :) I'm vegan but I suck at this.

Music, Movies, and Books

In no particular order: "The Hemulen who Loved Silence", "Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind", "Akira", "The Big Lebowsky", various sci-fi (Pirx anyone?) and fantasy (kinda into game of thrones), ambient/psybient, rock, metal, flamenco, old stuff by Hey, tell me what you like!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise from the top of the Fuji mountain, when I realized that the way Japanese artists draw scrolls with extremely steep mountains disappearing into fog below is not a metaphor, it actually looks exactly like that in real life. Riding a motorcycle through a forest road on a sunny day.

Teach, Learn, Share

Would enjoy practicing my Japanese, also like to speak English a bit not to get rusty.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Friendship, conversation, couch, my father-in-law's awesome sweet home-made wine, I can show you around the city if I can get away from work :) I have a spanish guitar if you like to play.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Japan, Poland
