About Me

After a 2 month trip across the US,I finally settled in NYC where I feel home.

*Los Angeles October 6th
*San Francisco October 12th
*Denver October 17th
*Austin October 24th
*Raleigh
*NYC

A few words about me.
Everyone tells me that I have a strong positive energy, I guess it's true :) I'm definitely positive because it's way easier to live my life like this. Don't get me wrong I have still my critical thinking, I just blended it with the American positivism style.

I'm a people lover, whatever sexuality, belief, food taste, favorite color etc.. Seeing the best in people is a foundation of my personality and my way of life.

My curiosity is endless and always bring me to amazing adventures.

For instance back in 2015 when I was in NYC, Improv, Water Polo, Storytelling, modeling for body painting are some of the activities I carried out while working for a bank.
From body painting, to going camping to lake placid with of a LGBT bike team who became friends, to joining a block party with the bushwick collective , from going down the 5th avenue in underwear and water pistol with the LGBT swim team to throwing paint and dance battle during the Brooklyn west indies carnival parade. I'm always down for everything.

See you soon :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing to meet you, to spend a little bit of time with locals . I need to meet people when I'm travelling because you are a source of inspiration.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I help people I meet with whatever I can, it can helping them move, clean a garden, giving advise on their digital strategy, installing ubuntu, whatever I can do to be useful. Contributing and helping while being host is something I consider as obvious, however I guess it's better to say the obvious :)

I'm a tech savvy and has a pretty wide culture so it always comes a moment where I can be useful.

I did several free personal tour in Paris :) enthusiasm and smile is my reward. I usually do random meetings, I see tourist, I ask if they need help, start by indicating few locations and then if their schedule and mine allow it, I can take them on a tour in Paris.
I did that with a family with 2 kids or a group of 10 students that I brought bar crawling. I guess this example gives an idea of my mindset.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered couchsurfing with Jimmy he arrived in Le Havre, as soon as he was with us he followed us wherever we go. Living and sharing our life , party , family diner, visiting place we know.
I really enjoyed showing him my place and on top that I met a very wonderful guy whom become a friend !
Jimmy arrived and was looking for local experience, he spent 3 days living with us, I was so happy to share that with him it was a wonderful exchange.

Interests

I studied science in school of engineer
Meantime my curiosity about economy made me discover Marcel Mauss and all the work about economic anthropology.
I grew up with a family where my father is a freudian psychoanalyst, my father beeing passionate about his work we had a lot of debate.
I learnt a lot about business thank to a master in economics and my professional career in international corporations.
I consider myself as a gourmet, as for someone who loves food and talking about it. There is something magic about what food can tell about a culture or the emotion that comes with it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love handing french candy "Carambar" to random strangers. French people usually face a rush of nostalgia and are bless with my unexpected gift :)
When I see this expression on the face of people I'm the happiest man on hearth.
